Josephine Benson, a gospel artist from the UK, is not only a midwife but also a musician, businesswoman, mentor, and mother. She is dedicated to spreading the message of Christ through her music and considers herself an ambassador of Christ.
Josephine Benson's journey began in Ghana, where she attended primary and secondary school. She then pursued her midwifery career at the Korle-Bu Nursing and Midwifery Training College in Accra. After gaining over 10 years of experience, she decided to move to the UK to continue her work.
Her passion for music started at a young age, and she began singing solos at her local church's children's day celebrations when she was just 5 years old. As she grew older, her talent and dedication led her to join the adult choir at the age of 9. Since then, she has been actively involved in serving in the choir.
Josephine Benson had the opportunity to work as a backing vocalist for renowned Ghanaian gospel artists such as Bernard Amankwah, Danny Nettey, Mama Cynthia, Rev. Thomas Yawson, Diana Hamilton, Irene Logan, MOG, Celestine Donkor, and many others.
During her time in high school, she served as an assistant music director for the "Youth Singers" and later took on major roles in directing the headquarters choir. She also served as a soloist and deaconess in her local church.
Driven by her love for humanity and her desire to bless others, Josephine Benson created a YouTube channel and other social media platforms where she actively mentors nurses and midwives who aspire to migrate to the UK. She also shares her song ministrations, health education, and the gospel with her followers.
In addition to her music and mentoring, Josephine Benson enjoys reading and continues to mentor youth both in her local church in Ghana and around the world.
She recently released her first music single, "In This Place," which was directed and produced by Kayode Omosa of Dunack Music.
