Azeez, who is the son of veteran filmmaker Dimeji Ijaduade, was seen in a video obtained by Per Second News, lying on a hospital bed with a bandage on his head and neck, which was stained with blood.
The seriousness of the situation was evident as his colleagues, including Jigan and Adeniyi Johnson, took to live Instagram videos to share the distressing news with the public.
Sources suggest that Azeez was shot by a police officer who has not yet been identified and is known for being trigger-happy.
The actor was quickly taken to Babcock University Teaching Hospital in Ilisan, which is less than a kilometer away from Iperu. Doctors are currently working hard to save his life.
The video obtained also showed police officers in uniform making phone calls, seemingly upset by the actions of their unidentified colleague.
