Over the weekend, Nigeria's currency, the naira, experienced an increase in value against the US dollar in the foreign exchange market.
According to official data from FMDQ, the naira strengthened to N791.25 against the dollar at the end of trading on Friday, marking a 5.87% or N49.39 gain compared to the previous day's exchange rate.
Despite an inflation hike in October, the naira saw a significant gain of N31.23 on Wednesday, as reported by DAILY POST.
The parallel market witnessed stability in the naira's value, with a Bureau De Change operator in Wuse Zone 4 Abuja confirming selling at N1140 and buying at N1125 on Friday.
