Shallipopi, the Nigerian singer also known as Crown Uzama, has openly admitted that he does not consider himself to be a flawless musician. He has acknowledged his imperfections both as a singer and a songwriter, but he has emphasized his strengths in creating vibes and expressing himself through street language.

During a recent episode of the Zero Conditions podcast, the singer of the popular track 'Obapluto' explained why he chose to sign artists who are more skilled than him to his newly established record label, Plutomania Records.

Initially, Shallipopi had no intention of signing anyone, but he realized that there are individuals who are better than him at singing. He firmly believes that he cannot sign someone who is less talented than him. While he may not possess exceptional singing abilities, he knows how to maintain his unique sound. He humbly admits that he is not the type of artist with an extraordinary voice or exceptional talent. Instead, he considers himself a vibe artist who incorporates street language into his music, allowing some fans to relate to his songs.

Furthermore, Shallipopi expressed that he identifies more as a talker than a rapper. Talking is the genre of music that he feels most comfortable with and excels in.
