Notable omissions include Wizkid and others from this year's shortlist as well as Portable who received two nominations at last year's nominations but was disqualified for threatening to kill the other nominees. He didn't win the prize.
After Portable failed to be nominated or win, DJ Chicken created a brutal rant on his Instagram page.
He said that Portable's star has faded and one day Instagram earnings will not be enough to pay Portable's mortgage on a house in Ogun State.
He also said Portable who accused Shallipopi, a music industry stalwart that he was doing Yahoo and challenged him to attempt Internet fraud too, if it was that simple to do.
