Nigerian rapper Odumodublvck has been announced as the winner of the AFRIMMA 2023 Best Newcomer Award.
The 10th edition of the AFRIMMA Awards took place overnight at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, Texas and featured performances by many renowned artists from across Africa.
Winning the Best Newcomer award was Def Jam’s latest signee, Odumodublvck, currently one of the hottest rappers in Africa, who became even more popular after Arsenal used his most widespread song ‘Declan Rice’ in unveiling their player (Declan Rice) this year.
On Monday morning (September 18), sharing his picture posing with the award on his X handle, Odumodublvck gave a shout-out to the AFRIMMA and his supporters, including Antiworld, Native Records, Abuja City, and the Hip-hop world.
