Nigerian music star Ruger has released his debut album “Ru The World”. In the early hours of Friday, September 1st 2023, Jonzing World signee Ruger, real name Michael Adebayo, dropped as promised after three highly acclaimed EPs in the past two years.
"Ru The World" has 17 tracks including five collaborations with Stefflon Don, Projexx, Sauti Sol, Govana and Jugglerz, Kukbeatz, Legendury Beatz, Frankie, Jugglerz, TSB, Thekidparris, Cadenza and Benjiflow.
Kukbeatz, with whom Ruger formed a formidable force and is responsible for his hits such as "Girlfriend", "Asiwaju" and "Dior", is the sole producer on eight of the album's 17 tracks.
Pre-released singles from the album include "Asiwaju" and "Red Flags" as well as "Jonzing Boy" and "Bun Bun", both of which Ruger released as a two-pack at different times between late 2022 and early 2023. Listen to "Ru The World" below:
