Nigerian music star Burna Boy has broken the record set by his colleague Davido on the US Apple Music chart with his new album 'I Told Them'.
Burna Boy, winner of the 2020 Grammy for Best Global Music Album, released his seventh album, I Told Them, featuring J. Cole, Dave and Seyi Vibez on Friday, August 25, 2023.
"I Told Them" has now reached number two on the US Apple Music Top Albums chart, joining the record shared by "Timeless" as the highest charting African album of all time.
Earlier this year, award-winning Nigerian music star Davido made a record with his fourth album, Timeless, becoming the first African artist to reach number two on the US Apple Music Top Albums chart; Now he is joined by Burna Boy in "I Told Them".
