Afrobeats budding singer known by the stage name Daniel Benson, BNXN has backed his former boss Burna Boy's comment that Afrobeats has no substance.
The "Pray" crooner acknowledged the self-styled African giant's ability, adding that, like Burna, he also makes music with meaning.
BNXN, who signed to Burna Boy's record label Spaceship in 2020, defended him on Instagram Live on Friday, August 25.
He said; "You can see why I relate to Burna so much because it's so different here. When I listen to him and anybody else, you can just tell he's doing his thing, the same when you listen to me. "What we're doing here, you can't come across it anywhere else, I promise you, I told you. Only a few of us are real and doing this thing for the right thing and have a say in it."
