Sir Kay, a well-known Yoruba actor and the father of the comedian "Isbae U" has reportedly passed away.
According to reports, the renowned Sir Kay, actor Kamal Adebayo passed away on Tuesday.
"Isbae U," a well-known skit maker and influencer, is the father of the actor who is noted for his distinctive vocabulary in Yoruba movies.
According to report, he was well-known for his distinctive roles and wit and had a long list of cinematic credits.
Only a few months had passed since "Isbae U" gave him a N1 million birthday surprise according to report.
He has being mourned on social media by a number of actors.
On Tuesday, Musiliu Akinsanya, alias "MC Oluomo," the chairman of the Lagos State Parks and Garages Management Committee, announced the actor's passing on his Instagram page.
"It is with a heavy heart that I announce the loss of Alhaji Kamal Adebayo (Sir Kay), May Allah offer him relief from all things. R.I.P., Sir Kay," MC Oluomo wrote.
Other Yoruba celebrities and actresses have expressed their condolences for the deceased on their Instagram sites since the announcement.
As of the time this article was filed, "Isbae U" had not commented on his father's passing.
